Review of the Caravan Guard, Motorhome insurance:

Caravan Guard - Easy to deal with

Caravan Guard offered comprehensive insurance at a favourable price, and didn’t insist on high excess, which others I’d contacted were asking.they were also contactable 7 days of the week. other insurance companies were slightly cheaper but had excess of £2100 for my high value vehicle, whereas Caravan Guard was £0-£650. They also insisted my vehicle required to have Thatcham approved Cat5 Tracker & immobiliser & S1 alarm, but were happy to give me up to 10 days from purchase of the vehicle to have it installed. other insurances wanted the equipment installed before I could even drive off the forecourt, Only problem was the dealer doesn’t permit any third party contractors to work on vehicles in the event they damage it or any other vehicle. Caravan Guard were the exception and I was able to drive to my home and have the equipment installed the following day. Reviewed on: 17th July 2025
