Meeting customer's need in a cost of living crisis

Insurance costs are rising all the time. My renewal with One Call only went up by £50 this year. I thought that was really reasonable. Every other provider I checked with, including comparison websites, were at least £300 more expensive than my quote from One Call. One Call also let me switch from paying annually to paying monthly, at 0% interest. I've owned my home for 8 years now and always paid in 1 lump sum in the past. The cost of living crisis has left me unable to do that this year. I had to change to monthly payments. One Call have obviously recognised that people are struggling financially and implemented the monthly payments plan at 0% interest to accommodate customersneeds. This is going above and beyond for customers, in my opinion. I did encounter a technical issue when I was trying to renew where the monthly price on my renewal offer didn't match that shown on my customer portal, but customer services quickly sorted that. I can only say positive things about One Call. Reviewed on: 7th August 2025
