Title: Unfair Treatment After Attempting to Responsibly Manage My Business Account I’m very disappointed with how Barclaycard has handled my business credit account. I’ve applied several times for a credit limit increase to support my company’s needs, and each request was declined — despite having a good payment history. How a company can function with £3,000 limit? Recently, I made a £400 payment toward my balance in an effort to continue using the account responsibly and improve my chances of an increase. Instead of seeing progress, Barclaycard reduced my credit limit to £2,600— with no proper explanation. This decision feels not only counterproductive but also completely demotivating for someone trying to manage their business credit properly. It gives the impression that payments are penalised rather than rewarded. I expected better support from a company that claims to stand behind businesses. This experience has seriously made me question continuing to use Barclaycard for my business needs. Reviewed on: 12th August 2025
