As a driving instructor, I recommend Collingwood to...

As a driving instructor, I recommend Collingwood to most of my students for private practice, for the following reasons: + Flexible cover – from 1 week to annual. + Protects the car owner’s No Claims Bonus. + Competitive prices & easy to set up. + Supervisor can be 21+ with 3 years’ licence. + Free RoadHow app for theory & hazard practice. ! Just be aware: - £40 cancellation fee if you end annual cover early, If you’re close to your test, short-term cover avoids cancellation fees. - Comprehensive cover has a high excess, although this can be reduced in certain situations. Overall: Excellent value and very learner-friendly if you choose the right policy length. Reviewed on: 15th August 2025
