On the positive side, the mobile app is easy to use and makes everyday banking simple, such as checking balances and making payments. Halifax also offers a broad range of mortgage options, which can be competitive, especially for first-time buyers. Some branch staff are helpful and friendly when dealing with straightforward issues. However, customer service can be inconsistent. Many customers experience long waiting times when contacting support, and resolving more complex problems can be frustrating.
