Avoid business account with Santander go elsewhere

Despite having held as business account with Santander for over 5 years I have to say the experience is dreadful. It's impossible to speak to he "right" department in one call despite phoning the number on the letter that they send. Once you do get answered which is normally after a 12 minute wait you are put through to a "verification" team who can't verify ANYTHING. Simple requests take an eternity and you get charged for the pleasure of being looked after by a team of incompetents. AVOID opening a business account with santander.
