Avoid JL car insurance, they use Carpenters Solicitors

Don't use JL car insurance, they use Carpenters Solicitors. Your case will never be resolved even when you're not at fault. JL are aware of the solicitors scamming customers and not dealing with claims, however they still work with them, which I think JL is also a part of the issues with Carpenters Solicitors. Cases are 3-4yrs in and still no resolution. Carpenters took on my claims as I wasn't at fault only to discover it's a set up, they purposely do not settle your claim, they leave it open and will not deal with your claim. JL are aware, and how they work they still collect money for a long period of time without resolving your claim. Reviewed on: 3rd October 2025
