After years of paying for the FlexiPlus account for its gadget cover, I made a claim for my broken iPhone. The experience with the external insurance administrator was poor. They were unhelpful, offered no loan phone option, and expected me to mail my device—which holds all my confidential data—creating significant hassle and security anxiety. The hurdles in the claims process are disappointing and not what you expect after years of premiums. I've now cancelled FlexiPlus. My advice is to get gadget insurance elsewhere where you can get local, practical help. A real shame, as Nationwide's core banking services have always been great for me.
