Revolut is a card you should consider having with you

A work colleague suggested Revolut as he joined for a USA family visit. I joined for EU and US usage and it’s great! So simple and cost effective to use. Granted, there has been around 5% of the time in the US that the card wasn’t accepted due to a retailer position, which is the same for other card transactions. The £’s to $ transfer rate is acceptable and the funds transfer from my bank is so easy - I can top up in >30 seconds, and the spending trackers are great! I’ve yet to review the other options available, but my Revolut card is with me constantly. Reviewed on: 13th January 2026
