Revolut Business or Revolut X SCAM for crypto

Do not make the mistake of using Revolut Business or Revolut X for your cryptocurrency investments. While they make it incredibly easy to "buy" and deposit money, they make it a nightmare to actually own your assets. Here is the "Scam" cycle they put you through: The "Hostage" Restriction: The moment you try to move a significant amount of crypto to your own cold wallet (self-custody), they flag your account for a "security review." Your funds are effectively frozen while they ask for endless documentation. The Limit Trap: Once they "unblock" you, they often apply ridiculously low daily withdrawal limits (sometimes as low as £2,000). If you have a large position, it will take you weeks or months of daily manual effort to move your own money out. The Fee Bleed: Every single one of these small mandatory transactions carries a "Revolut Service Fee" (usually £5 per transaction for BTC/ETH) plus the network fee. If you are forced to move £50,000 in tiny £2000 increments, you are paying Revolut thousands of pounds in fees just to withdraw your own money. No Private Keys: You do not own the keys on Revolut. They act as a middleman that profits from your inability to leave. Conclusion: If you value your financial freedom, stay away. Use a real exchange like Kraken or Binance where you can withdraw your full balance at once, and then move it to a hardware wallet. Revolut Business is designed to keep your capital hostage while slowly draining it through forced, high-frequency fees. Not your keys, not your coins. Avoid at all costs.
