Review of the RCI Bank, Fixed Term Savings Account:

Fixed Term Savings perfect for Uni

The whole family have used the fixed term savings accounts. Both children deposited their trust funds at 18 and have are able to use the interesr to support university. We are not a wealthy family, so doon't have investments, so this was a good way for them to easily and safely save their money, budget needs over time and learn about persinal finance. Although interest rates have dropped in line with national, RCI are reasonable and always with a lot of notice so that we can make informed decisions. Reviewed on: 28th January 2026
