Very good

Very convenient and easy way to carry travel money with you and easy to use in many countries. No fee to use the card in shops or online and they also deliver your card free. Also no fee when loading sterling via bank transfer. Recommended. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

American Express is always providing consistently good customer service and they are there to help you with your queries especially if you are travelling abroad and have to use your card in other countries - they are very quick to resolve problems and their fraud system is flawless. Competitive pricing, very quick to deal with claims. Have been with them for years. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend someone else with ease of mind. Previously, we had a break in and lost some jewellery. They responded within a week to our claim. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

RBS Cash ISA is an easy to use service with competitive rates. Although it is debatable whether saving nowadays is worth it, putting away some money each month is always a wise idea. I have my current account with RBS and it is easy to transfer between accounts through mobile app. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Review of the RBS, Cashback Plus Debit Card:

RBS Debit Card Cashback is a relatively new service and over the time, it has gotten better in terms of offers however there is still a lot to improve. Firstly, there are very limited retailers where you can earn cashback and I haven't even heard of some of them. It could be however useful for some others. You also currently get a %1 cashback on all Contactless payments across all retailers you shop. You can manage your account online. For redeeming, there is a £5 threshold. This is a low threshold but I cannot see why it can't be automatically deposited to your account. If RBS increase the number of retailers that can be used or/and have more variety of special offers, it would be more attractive. Currently, it is only worth using if you are already with them. Another thing to do would be to add other perks like vouchers as it would be also useful. Reviewed on: 25th August 2015
