My fixed deal ended - 50% increase in payments

My fixed deal ended - and the mortgage payment increased by 50%, then increased another 4% one month later. I had no choice but to sell up. To be honest, it was quite hard to setup this BTL in the first instance, the communication was slow and bot 100% efficient. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
