An ode to L&C

We used L&C for our first remortgage and they were great. For our second remortgage, we were recommended a private broker with higher fees, but since my situation had changed we thought it was worth the extra cost. Turns out it really wasn't. The more expensive private broker was much worse in-terms of competence, responsiveness etc. We're now back with L&C for our next remortgage and they have been brilliant. Never going anywhere else again. An ode to L&C in Haiku form: Numbers fall in line; London & Country calmly; Turns “maybe” to “home”. Reviewed on: 5th February 2026
