Good Offers

4
Good offers for interest free periods sent through regularly. Only issue being that I was given a new club card number and didn't realise so my points weren't going to the account I checked. Customer service are very quick and helpful to sort out any issues including fraud attempts. Reviewed on: 7th February 2017

Quick, Easy and Good Value for Money

5
Very quick and easy to set up over the phone without ever having to take time off work to go into a branch. The advisors were very helpful and talked me through the whole process. As I am a new limited company, I get my first year of banking free which is great! Reviewed on: 2nd January 2017

Great Card with Great Deals

5
I've had my Barclaycard for years now and have been send regular 0% interest offers on purchases and money transfers, all of which last 6 months to a year which makes it great value for money for large purchases. I would definitely recommend this card. The added contactless feature makes it quick and easy to use when out and about and in a hurry. Reviewed on: 27th January 2016

Breached Data Protection and can't change direct debit date

1
I initially took out sick pay insurance through LV in March through TopCashBack but the cash back did not track. I opened a claim through the TopCashBack website and waited for this to be resolved. While waiting for this, a much more serious incident happened where they changed my direct debit details without my permission as someone else with a similar name to mine wished to change theirs and their customer service advisor changed mine instead! I contacted them as this is illegal and breaches DPA and it took multiple emails for them to admit what happened and to rectify it. Now, several months on from this, I have chased the missing cashback and this has finally been paid. However, I rang to change the date my direct debit was taken from my account as my pay date was changing and they won't allow this to be done as 'their systems don't allow for any date changes to me made.' I find this ridiculous and have now cancelled my policy with immediate effect. Reviewed on: 10th August 2015

Remortgaged to a new fixed rate in 5 minutes and saved £70 a month!

5
I have now had a Halifax mortgage for 18 months and my fixed rate deal was ending. I looked at the offers on the website and when I entered my mortgage number, was given 2 deals to choose from - a 2 year fixed rate or a 4 year fixed rate. I selected the one that I wanted and was given a reference number to log in to check the progress of my switch. The next day, I received an email from Halifax to say it had all been confirmed and I would receive confirmation documents in the post as well as online. I've saved £70 a month on my mortgage for 5 minutes of my time! Reviewed on: 10th August 2015
