A lot has changed since 2020

In 2020, L&C provided a reliable service when assisting me in securing a mortgage, and a few years later they were again able to obtain another competitive deal. On both occasions, they assessed my personal circumstances and selected what they considered to be the most suitable option from the products available to them. However, this standard of service declined in subsequent years. In 2024 and 2025, when I needed to re-mortgage both properties, L&C was unable to identify a more competitive deal. Consequently, I arranged the re-mortgages directly with my existing lender. While this may be influenced by current market conditions, I find it difficult to understand why L&C was unable to offer any alternative or improved options. Reviewed on: 5th February 2026
