Review of the L&C Mortgages, Mortgage broker:

Total let down

After submitting all the requested documents, for two months we were led to believe our mortgage application was proceeding normally. After two months the lender told us that no mortgage application had been submitted to them. On finding we had been misled by L&C we had to find another broker and start again just as we were about to exchange on our house purchase. L&C have let us down, and put us in an embarrassing and stressful position. Reviewed on: 7th February 2026
