Monzo bosses banking - awesome bank

Monzo is one of these banks that manages to appeal to everyone, but especially young people trying to get their head round money. I've just started my first job, and it allows me to divide money into pots, direct DD payments out of these pots and keep track of my spending, all while updating me along the way with quirky reminders and payment notifications. Also love all the tips and the simplicity making day-to-day finance either automatic or fun. As soon as my wage comes through, monzo puts some in savings, splits a fair bit into pots and then has a dedicated target section where it keep track of all my spending I make outside of these! Hassle free budgeting, rapid and excellent customer service and super-cool red coral cards. Monzo has bossed banking and lets their customers boss money. Reviewed on: 9th February 2026
