Row.co.uk and sister company Big Warranties are incompetent

I have home emergency cover with Row/Big Warranties for 2 properties which I rent out. Thinking it made sense for them to service the boiler if they are the ones covering it, I arranged the boiler check with them. Supposedly the tenant wasn't in at the arranged time, but instead of calling me to gain access, the engineer just waited some time like a lemon then left. I was then left for 2 weeks without a valid gas certificate, which for a landlord is a MASSIVE no-no, with me waiting like a lemon for them to send it. No update, no attempt to reschedule, not even a complaint about the tenant letting them down! There is a £78 charge for a failed call-out which they didn't even bother calling me to collect! They are useless at communication and negligent to the point of putting my business at risk. Avoid like the plague. Reviewed on: 29th April 2019
