Review of the Close Brothers Savings, Savings:

Brief resume.

I first encountered Close Bros. during the fallout from the 2008 'financial crisis', when I visited them in London and decided to lodge a substantial (for me) deposit with them. Their customer service then was very good indeed. I have continued to lodge fixed-term deposits with them from time to time (I have one right now), doing so online through their excellent website. The feedback I get, including end-of-financial-year statements for tax purposes, is always timely and well presented. I will continue to be a customer. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026
