I have always up until recently felt a valued customer of Santander 123 current account. But recently after reducing the interest on direct debits and interest on money in your account plus an increase in the monthly account fee i am no longer `breaking even'! Also I have experienced poor customer service when a cashier paid a cheque into a wrong account off mine which had personal implications. I am now in the process of researching for an alternative. Increase monthly fee with little customer benfefit

I've been an Alliance & leicester & then Santander customer for many years. However recently I've experienced poor customer service and benefits for an increasing monthly fee with little benefit and even reduction in interest on accounts. Reviewed on: 17th January 2017
