I use the Rooster cards for my children and they are...

I use the Rooster cards for my children and they are great. My children are 9 and 11 and these cards give them a sense of independence and responsibility. They think hard when making purchasing decisions as they recognise the money in their account is real money. When we made the decision to open a rooster card I talked my children through the decision making process explaining to them why we use this card and not more heavily promoted cards such as GoHenry which make a charge. We never open accounts that cost money was my advice to my children. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026
