Great children’s banking

I was looking for a children’s banking account with app that would allow my six and seven year old to start managing their own money, to pay for more things for themselves, to save and see progress from earning money through jobs around the house. I wanted though to still have a clear oversight on what they were spending and be able to place limits and protect them. Rooster does all of these things and because we have a NatWest current account it’s not costing us a fortune to manage small amounts of money in this way. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026
