Desperation Times

At the beginning of the year, I was hit with an unexpected debt that completely wiped out my bank account. I was unable to pay my energy bills, and happened to be offered a loan that day in my emails. Not expecting acceptance, I tried. It took 5 mins and the confirmation email was received within 30 mins.
