Review of the Haysto, Specialist Mortgage Broker:

I really cannot praise Haysto highly enough. From my first contact with Cameron on 4th September I've felt like I've been in really safe hands. Due to a long-term relationship breakup I suddenly found myself, at age 61, needing to find a mortgage. My now ex-partner was willing to help but, at 68 years old, both he and I found the high street banks unable to help. I admit I had pretty much lost all hope by the time I came across Haysto but I figured one more shot wouldn't hurt. I immediately found myself under the protective wing of a fabulous team who were able to reassure me that they could help and that they were very practiced in the type of mortgage I needed - Joint Borrower, Sole Proprietor. And, boy, did they help! Just a day after speaking to Cameron and then his colleague, James, I received an Agreement In Principle for a mortgage large enough to look at decent properties and at a really good rate fixed for the first 5 years. I was ecstatic! There then followed lots of documents to upload which which was incredibly easy to do via "my dashboard" on their website. Haysto ask you for everything that the bank will require in order to make you a formal mortgage offer and there's always someone available if you have any queries. You can either message your team via your dashboard or you can book a call with them. James even sent an email on my behalf to the sellers' estate agents when they didn't understand the type of mortgage I was applying for. I had an offer accepted on a property on 15th September and informed Haysto. My mum is gifting me part of the deposit so I did have a few more documents to upload which took a bit of time because mum lives over 300 miles away and is very anti-internet so I had to do some travelling on my days off, which added a few days to the whole process, but my team at Haysto were very supportive and kept me calm when I became stressed. I uploaded the final document on 29th September and Haysto submitted my formal mortgage application on the same day. Just one week later, I received my formal mortgage offer from the bank :) Here is a big shout out to everyone on my team: Cameron W James F Charlie W Mark D Glynn F Nadia G I went with the solicitors that Haysto recommended to me, although I felt no pressure to do so and could have used a different solicitor if I wished, and they, too, have been incredibly efficient and helpful. Honestly, finding Haysto has been one of the best strokes of luck I've ever experienced and I give them my highest recommendation. They really do deserve all the fabulous reviews they've received. If you find that nobody else can help you find a mortgage, give these guys a call because they'll do everything they can for you.
