Review of the Triodos Bank, Current account:

Ethical, Professional, Thorough.

It's so good to know that the organization looking after my money is using it ethically. That is my most important consideration, and no other bank offers such reassurance. Having said that, my most recent communication with Triodos was most frustrating! I had inherited a sum of money which I wanted to pass on to a friend who really needed it. It took a number of phone calls and elaborate proofs of the source of the money, as well as the nature and duration of the friendship, before the transfer was finally allowed to go ahead. I say I was frustrated, but of course it is another sign of how professional and ethical Triodos bank is. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
