I have been a customer for less than a year, and honestly, joining Triodos felt like getting a badge of honour. I was desperate for an account because it feels like being part of a secret ethical club that genuinely cares about people and the planet. In a world that can feel quite scary, banking here makes me feel like I’m making a better choice every single day. The customer service is genuinely exquisite and incomparable. When you use their live chat, you aren't talking to 'customer service drones'—you are talking to humans who speak to you with real kindness and recognition. It feels like what a bank used to be, where there was a real relationship and you weren't just a number. It takes that 'aaargh eek screaming crying throwing up' anxiety out of money and makes it manageable. While I initially felt a bit lost after switching from a high-tech app, the Triodos app has improved exponentially in just the last few months. I love that they are actively and visibly working to improve their product; it shows they actually listen to their customers. I have zero complaints and I’m so proud to have my name on a Triodos card. They truly deserve to win. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
