This bank gives high priority to ethical banking and is transparent about its charges. I started banking with it more than 20 years ago when it had a Quaker Housing Association benefit account, from which I donated the interest to QHA - easy (though rates were so low then that QHA didn't get much). I have had a cash ISA for almost as long as they have existed. Now I bank online but at the time Triodos sensibly sent me the statements for both accounts in the one envelope, saving postage and paper. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
