Ethical, helpful, stress-free banking

I chose Triodos because it means my money isn't being used to fund illegal wars or exploit people and the planet, and I would have been happy just with that, but their service has been amazing. I've spoken to actual human beings when I've needed to and they have been super helpful and really clear. In fact clarity of communication has been a consistent part of my experience throughout. This is the only bank I've ever used that has brought me no stress or worry whatsoever. They hadn't been running personal accounts very long when I joined, so not everything I wanted was in place, but they responded to queries and let me know what they were planning next - now it does everything I need and I couldn't be happier with them.
