Yes to banking like this! Let's make it for everyone!

My experience with Triodos has been smooth and the app is good for banking on the go. The difference I am making by putting my money into a bank that can report on its ethical investments is important to me, and the app shows me exactly what my £'s with Triodos achieve. The only downside is that Triodos do not offer an overdraft facility, which means for anyone who is less well off, their ethical banking becomes out of reach. I think its a shame that ethical banking is the preserve of those who are more financially insulated. I hope the popularity of Triodos one day enables them to offer their current accounts with this facility. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2026
