Review of the Triodos Bank, Current account:

more banks should follow Triodos' example!

I chose Triodos over 5 years ago for their Current Account because they charge a monthly fee - I was unaware that 'free' current accounts are actually paid for by customers in debt with their bank. Triodos' values and ethics are truly tip top and they're always open about their investments and the good they're trying to do, unlike other banks that are actively investing in the climate crisis and weapons sales. Triodos' online banking and app are very easy to use, and their customer service is wonderful. They even helped me confirm an overseas payment for a hotel had been taken twice, providing the confirmation so I could get my duplicated payment back. Would always point friends or family to Triodos for all their banking needs. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026
