Review of the Admiral, Car Insurance:

Easy to sign up with - there when I needed them.

I found it easy to sign up with Admiral and went on for years with being lucky driving in Central London. Then my luck went out and the front of my car got crumpled. They arranged for my poor car to be picked up, fixed it and brought it home when it was better. I did not get a courtesy car but I would not have been able to park it without the car's own parking permit anyway, so this was not a problem. They were there for me when i needed them and I am happy to still be with them... Reviewed on: 25th August 2015

Review of the Nationwide, Regular Savings:

Reliable and secure but not great rates.

As Nationwide is a mutual rather than a publicly owned bank they do not have shareholders. This means that they have been less reckless with member's funds than some of their peers and the big banks. This means my money is still there and they have not had to have a bailout. It also has led them to provide equally dull service in branch as they know their members want security.
