Review of the Triodos Bank, Current account:

A truly ethical bank, with great customer service.

A few years ago, I discovered that choosing where to keep/save/invest your money is one of the most important ethical choices you can make. I knew I had to move my money out of my existing accounts, and then I found Triodos. They are consistently rated as one of the most ethical banking options by ethical consumer, and you can see that through all the amazing work they support (from community projects to renewable energy funding), and their transparency over their structure and investments. And alongside that their customer service has been brilliant, better than any other bank I have banked with. The switching process to join them was also really easy. So making the right choice ethically has also been an easy choice, and I would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 28th March 2026
