Felt valued when fraudulent charges were reversed.

I was charged nearly £100 for a service by travel company that I did not sign up for. On PayPal’s chat service I explained this and tried to reverse this charge. I was very pleased when PayPal recognised this fraudulence and recersed this charge. Reviewed on: 5th July 2026

Far from home woes made easier.

For years I have been relying on PayPal credit to finance my trips from Botswana to my homeland of the UK. Although I live in Botswana my heart and family are back home. Without the opportunity of credit I would not have been able, for example, to attend my mother’s funeral last December. Its a relaxed and strangely friendly way to borrow. Reviewed on: 5th July 2026

PayPal credit has helped me when I have been desperate: Living abroad and away from my family, I was able to buy air tickets for family emergencies back home, and comfortably pay back over time. Reviewed on: 9th June 2026

Good credit options, security and responsibility.

I have used PayPal for years and totally rely on the easiness to get credit. I live abroad and have often needed to buy airline tickets by their ‘pay later’ scheme. I was also nearly scammed but due to the help of the paypal team, I was refunded. Also, they spoke proper English and sounded knowledgeable: they instilled confidence. Because of these reasons I will never leave PayPal. Reviewed on: 7th April 2026
