Not so easy switching... but worth the fuss!

We opened a joint 123 account to make the most of the % back on our mortgage and direct debits. The switching process was a nightmare and took 2 months and many phone calls, leaving us without a working account for October and November... Christmas preparation nightmare!!! Since the switch finally happened, the customer service in branch and the smooth operation of the website has made up for the initial niggles, just a shame the interest rates have dropped so dramatically!
