I used Barclaycard to transfer money from another credit card following the rise in prices due to the sanctions by Donald Trump in America. I was able to set up a direct debit for the full amount for each monthly statement. Barclaycard also inform me before the direct debit is paid to check that I have sufficient funds to pay it. Great customer service and trusted by most companies.

PayPal managed dealt with a complaint when I I was charged continually for something when it wasn't clear that this is what would happen. It is possible to spread payments across three Installments for larger amounts. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
