Investing made simple

5
Trading 212 is genuinely one of the easiest investing apps I’ve used. From the moment you open it, everything just feels simple and straightforward, which is perfect if you’re new to investing or don’t want anything complicated. Signing up took me less than ten minutes, and the whole process was smooth. The app itself looks clean and modern, without tons of confusing buttons or menus everywhere. Finding a stock or ETF is quick – you just type in the name and it pops up right away. Buying shares is really intuitive too. You can start with as little as £1 thanks to fractional shares, so you don’t have to wait until you have enough money for a full share.I especially like the Pies feature because it lets you build your own portfolio in a really visual and easy way, almost like creating a pie chart of your investments. Setting up AutoInvest is just a couple of taps and then it runs in the background, which is brilliant if you want to invest regularly without thinking about it every month. The dashboard gives you a nice clear view of your holdings, performance, and cash balance without any clutter. Even checking your returns or making a quick trade feels fast and effortless on my phone.Of course, it’s not perfect for everyone. If you’re an experienced trader who loves digging into detailed charts and advanced tools, you might find it a bit too basic and simplified. The research part is pretty limited – there’s not much in the way of news or deep analysis. Also, when I needed help with a small issue once, the in-app chat support took longer than I expected to get back to me.Still, for most normal people who just want to invest their money without hassle, Trading 212 feels really user-friendly. It’s the kind of app that makes you feel confident even if you’ve never invested before. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something simple, clean, and easy to use. Overall, I’d give it a strong 4.5 out of 5, mainly because the ease of use is honestly one of its biggest strengths. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
