Why Trading 212 Won Me Over

5
No commission on trades. No platform fee. That alone puts it ahead of most competitors. Every penny of my ISA allowance actually goes to work instead of being chipped away by charges. The app itself is clean and easy to use but doesn't dumb things down. You get proper tools like limit orders, price alerts and decent charts without feeling like you need a finance degree to navigate it all. What really sets it apart is the Pies feature. I built a custom mix of ETFs, set a monthly deposit and it auto rebalances for me. It turned investing from something I kept meaning to do into something that just happens in the background every month. Fractional shares are a game changer too. You can spread your ISA across dozens of stocks and ETFs even with smaller amounts, which makes proper diversification accessible from day one. If I'm being picky, customer support can be slow during busy periods. But that's about it. For a free, tax free, well designed investing account that genuinely helps you build long term wealth, Trading 212's ISA is hard to beat. 5 out of 5. Reviewed on: 8th April 2026
