The credit union changed my attitude to money

I have been in the credit union for years it has changed my relationship with money. Many years ago I was in debt I owed money on credit cards. I applied for a loan and had a face to face with a woman who went through everything I spent my money on. The process made me see how much of my money was spent on stuff I could live without. Since that meeting I have paid off all my debts, always made sure that I saved more money by setting up standing orders. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
