Rigid & bureaucratic

With over a million on deposit, I requested the withdrawal of just £3k without the 14-day notice period due to urgent circumstances. Two hours later, the Bank called back to say No. I considered this mean-spirited and bureaucratic in a way that undermined my confidence in the Bank. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026
