Flexible when I needed it most

I've used PayPal Credit for a couple of years now, mainly for bigger purchases like music equipment. The 0% interest on purchases over £99 for 4 months has genuinely saved me money. I've bought multiple items and spread the cost without paying a penny extra, which as a freelancer with irregular income was a lifesaver. What I rate most is how seamless it is. It sits inside my existing PayPal account, so there's no separate card to manage, and checkout takes seconds. The app makes it easy to see exactly what's owed and when the promotional period ends, so no nasty surprises. If I'm being picky, I'd like clearer reminders before a 0% period expires, as the standard interest rate is steep if you're not on top of it. But used sensibly, it's one of the most flexible credit options I've had. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026

Transparent and easy to use

It’s easy to process and get a handle of the transactions. The only negative I have is it would be good to be able to if you have outstanding balances on transactions as sometimes I’ve definitely paid more money into the credit system than a specific transaction is and it’s not contributed to reducing the cost, and then interest is added when it shouldn’t be.
