Paypal Credit - a nightmare of an organisation.

Paypal Credit is convenient but extremely fruistrating, On the one hand they offer 4 months interest free credit which allows you to spead the cost of a purchase at no extra charge but on the other hand Paypal itself seems to be ignorant as to the actual product and in the event of a dispute Paypal Customer service will tell you to contact your financial institution oblivious to the fact that they are the financial institution. You have to be prepared to spend several months arguing with them over even the smallest issue and then, despite veryu many past ombudsman rulings making the law clear, you also have to be prepared to engage with the FOS if you want to raise a complaint, Paypal will, in my own experience, tell you things which are false in order to persuade you to let them keep your money then they should in fact refund you.
