Over the past 9 months, I’ve been on a journey to rebuild my credit rating after getting out of an emotional and financially abusive situation living with my mom. Due to a default caused by the situation, I had a 0 credit rating on Experian as I wasn’t in a position to pay off the default but after living with my dad and regaining control of my money, I’ve been able to slowly rebuild my credit and was recently pre approved for a card with 118 118 Money. Seeing the pre approval meant the world to me as I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d be able to build my credit and I’m so glad 118 is a part of my journey! I can’t wait to continue using the card to build my credit score back up! Reviewed on: 20th April 2026
