Fast, Secure and Stress-Free Payments

I’ve had a really positive experience using PayPal over the years. It makes sending and receiving money quick, easy and secure, whether I’m shopping online or transferring money to friends and family. I especially like the added buyer protection and how simple the app is to use. Transactions are usually instant, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing my banking details are kept protected. Overall, PayPal has made online payments far more convenient and reliable for me, and it’s become one of my most trusted payment methods. Reviewed on: 10th June 2026

Misleading Customer Service

While I appreciate the fact that PayPal gave me access to PayPal Credit with the option to buy items over £99 and spread the cost over four months at 0% APR, my overall experience has unfortunately been very disappointing. I added the virtual card to my wallet and, before attempting to use it, I contacted customer service on three separate occasions to specifically ask whether there were any limits or restrictions on the card. Each time, I was assured by different representatives that there were no limits and that I would be able to use the card as long as I had available credit. However, when I went to make a purchase at a very busy Costco store, the card was blocked at the till. It was embarrassing and inconvenient, and I had to quickly use another card to complete the payment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I had already taken the time to confirm everything beforehand with customer service, only to receive inaccurate information multiple times. Because of this experience, I still haven’t had a proper opportunity to use or benefit from the 0% APR offer. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when relying on information provided by customer service, as my experience was far from reassuring. Very disappointing overall. Not bad but
