Reliable service but needs better charge transparency

Review: I have been using PayPal Credit for a long time and overall my experience has been good. It is convenient, easy to use, and widely accepted for online payments. However, recently I noticed an unexpected charge on my bill which I was not aware of at the time of purchase. This was concerning as I only found out after receiving the statement. I think PayPal should improve notifications and add stronger security checks to avoid unauthorised or accidental transactions. Despite this issue, I still find the service useful, but there is definitely room for improvement in transparency and customer protection. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2026
