Review of the Newbury Building Society, Savings:

Excellent customer service is still being delivered.

My wife and I are long standing customers initially as mortgagors and now investors. We recently realised that we could improve the rate of return on our ISA investments by switching products offered by the Society. One call to the central office to explain our needs was all that was required. We were then contacted by our local branch who filled out all of the necessary transfer forms and these were signed and returned online as we now live too far away to visit the Alton branch in person. Throughout the various procedures were carried promptly with little fuss or complexity from our point of view. In addition, suggestions were made to us of other changes that could be made that would further improve the return on our other existing investments without loss of flexibility. My wife and I have dealt with many different financial institutions and with some it was obvious that our loyalty was being exploited. We have been very satisfied with the way we have been treated by the Newbury Building Society staff and were pleased to find that excellent, old fashioned customer service is still being delivered by them.
