Serious concerns about quality checks and warranty sale

I arranged a car through Car Finance 24/7 and it turned into a very costly experience. Key points: The vehicle failed with serious engine damage after 18 months The warranty was acknowledged by Car Finance 24/7 as having been mis-sold to me The warranty provided no meaningful protection when I needed it I was left with the financial consequences While they position themselves as a broker, they are the link between: You The dealer The finance company In my case, that chain failed.
