Review of the PayPal, Pay in 3:

First class service

I don't have a credit card and find PayPal in 3 excellent for purchases up to £100 on my income, so that the instalments are manageable. It's easy to be accepted to pay this way, and PayPal sends clearly written emails at the time of the purchase and first instalment paid, as well as timely email reminders of the forthcoming second and third instalments. (Although this is not necessary, if you have a diary - whether online or the paper sort - you might find it helpful to write in the payment dates of the 2nd and 3rd instalment, just in case you experience a problem with your Internet connection. For example, let's say you have three payments of £29.50 via PayPal for the supermarket Iceland. The first payment was made at the time of making the online order and let's say this was on 30 June. I'd write in my paper diary on 30 July PP (Ice/2) £29.50, and on 30 August PP(Ice/3) £29.50). I really cannot fault this service and would say to anyone who has not tried it as they may be a bit unsure, that it's all plain sailing - and once you've tried it there will be no going back. 10 out of 10 in every way!

I do not own a credit card though had one years ago, but with the increased cost of living and with no savings it can be difficult to afford everyday items as well as the occasional treat. This is where PayPal's Pay in 3 comes in as splitting the total cost into three payments over a 3-month period makes it easy to cover the payments. Applying for Pay in 3 is really easy and you will be accepted immediately. PayPal's website or app are easy to understand and case you are worried that you might miss a payment PayPal sends reminder emails well in advance, but I'd also recommend that you write the payment dates and amounts into your diary as I do just in case.
