Getting the loan was made easy and seems a fair proc...

Getting the loan was made easy and seems a fair process and initially easy to pay back, but their system lets them down, payments were made but not applied to the loan account, which meant you have to chase them. You can’t transfer to the loan on the app or overpay easily, you have to phone in and the opening hours are inconvenient if you work. You used to be allowed to email but they’ve changed this and they insist you ring. When I had concerns about my loan I write to them for answers, but they became aggressive, threatening and unhelpful and ever since I have been treated very differently by the union in not a good way.The only reason I continue to use them is because I’d rather have my finances with them than a bank. Not easy but my money is better here than a bank!

Difficult to use, take away products without much notice and without explanation. Change what and how they bank continuously which is difficult as a customer, but would rather have my money here than in a bank. Reviewed on: 15th May 2026
