“I got the Vanquis Credit Builder card to help improve my credit score. It’s done what I needed it to do, and the app makes it easy enough to keep track of spending and payments. That said, the interest rate is very high, so you really need to stay on top of payments and avoid carrying a balance if you can. The starting credit limit wasn’t huge either, but I suppose that’s expected with a credit builder card. Overall, it’s useful if you’re trying to rebuild credit, but it’s definitely not a card I’d use for everyday borrowing.” Reviewed on: 20th May 2026
